The young soccer players perceived their motivational climate as being more improved in parental and general mastery PMC. In the study, 81 young soccer players and their parents were chosen randomly and assigned to either ego oriented or task oriented parental feedback conditions. Players that received task oriented parental feedback condition increased significantly in parental and general mastery PMC and decrease significantly in performance PMC.
