The degree to which an organization develops, assimilates and implements good practices in the direction of projects, programs and portfolios, is known as the maturity in administration/project management. The level of maturity of an organization or organizational unit is feasible to be measured through the maturity models. A maturity model is defined as a structured set of elements (good practices, measurement tools, analysis criteria, etc.), which allows the identification of the capacities installed in the management of projects in the organization, comparing them with the structures, identify weaknesses and establish continuous improvement processes.
