As a business continues to grow and develop there are activities and processes that will definitely change to adapt to the business needs. Some examples of factors that can cause a business to change it's processes include; technology and business expansion. They are further explained below;

    1. Technology

    Technology is ever changing as people keep finding new innovative ways of solving problems. The business world has in the recent years accepted the use of automated machines and computerized systems to increase efficiency at a relatively low cost. Adapting to the use of new technology is often a challenge to most employees and thus businesses should always strive to train their employees to adapt to these changes. This is an example of how encouraging employees to adapt to new business processes is important in change management.

    2. Business expansion

    When the business is expanding, the existing processes are usually limiting to the changing needs and thus the need for new business processes that can handle the expansion. The management can encourage the employees to adapt to new processes.
