The scenario best illustrate the Technological lockout Scenario

    Explanation:

The term Technological lockout refers to the inability of a company to competitively sell its products because it dependence on old technologies or a non-dominant design.

As per the definition given by Melissa A. Schilling (1998) as 'a situation in which a firm finds itself unable to develop or competitively sell products to a particular market because of technology standards'.

The 4G design is non-dominant and Rebopy did not have the technical know-how to deliver effective 4G services hence they are locked out of the network service market by other similar service providers.

The example of Technological Lockout is that of Nokia

Nokia was one of the biggest Player in the mobile market but when there competitors like sony, xiamoi and Samsung introduced android handset then its customer left the company and choose the product that where technological advance in comparison to the product offerde by Nokia. As the other two companies also had technological advancement in comparison to Nokia, so the Nokia customer got drifted toward these new companies
