    Explanation: Contaminants which are visible and may reside in our diet due to external influences are called physical contaminants are are hence, the source of physical contamination. Once we are able to physically observe the presence of objects such as hair, glass, stalk in our food or diet who h aren't meant to be a part of the food, then our food as being subjected to physical contamination. In other to redu e or mitigate the risk of physical contamination, dining areas where food is being ate should be examined for evidence of flaking paint, broken light bulbs, and wood damage and other physical contaminants in other to reduce the chances of physical contamination.
