Every person owns a separate area for his or her house usually. People purchase lands and build their houses on them according to their own choices. But there are houses which are built on the same area but has many owners of houses. Such housings are generally called as Flats or Apartments or Condominium. In such type of housing, the owner of the housing purchases an area and build apartments or flats on that area vertically. A tall building structure is made and then these separate portions or apartments or flats are sold to separate owners. So in this case, the area is common but the houses are separate.
