Profit is a financial benefit that is realised when the amount of revenue gained from a business activity that exceeds the expenses, costs and taxes, which needed to sustain the activity.
Extra: Any profit that is gained, always goes to the business' owners. It is up to them whether the profit is then spent on themselves or the business.
