I believe the answer is: d. Make purchases or get cash now, and pay back the bank in monthly payments.

The main purpose for a checking account is to provide us with easy access to take and put in our money in the bank in order to pay most of our transactions.

It does not enable you to obtain money that you haven't deposited into the bank unless you add additional credit account to your name.

I think the correct answer from the choices listed above is option D. Making purchases or getting cash now, and paying back the bank in monthly payments is not something that you could do with a normal checking account. You do not pay the bank for your purchases because you are using your own money in a normal checking account.
