The lack of a national law requiring seat belts on school buses is a serious problem in the united states. last year alone, 437 children were killed and more than 17,000 ended up in emergency rooms as a result of accidents involving school buses. given all the advances in automobile safety in recent years, how can we continue to allow our children to ride in unsafe vehicles?
