    In this case, the first club gives cheaper membership fee but the more monthly fee and the second club is the opposite. Then to know how many months will the total cost of each health club be the same, the calculation would be:

    1 st club fee = 2nd club fee

    14 + 28x = 24 + 23x

    28x-23x = 24-14

    5x = 10

    x=2

    So the fee will be same after the 2nd month. The total cost would be: 14+28 (2) = $70
