Which energy transformation occurs in the core of a nuclear reactor?

    The answer is nuclear fission. They use nuclear fission in the core of a nuclear reactor to heat up the water and the water from the core will be passed down to the heat exchanger and heat up other water sources. The water will be steamed and its steam will be converted into electricity.
