    I f the unknown has a larger radius the valence electron is further away from the nucleus than in the K atom so it is more easily lost so ionisation energy must be lower and have a lower electronegativity.

    CH2O and (3xCH2O)

    PbCl2 and PbCl4 - two different compounds

    NO2 and (2xNO2)

    (3xCH4) and CH4 Remember the empirical formula is the simplest formula which shows the ratio of the constituent atoms
