    The lawn accumulates a new layer of snowflakes every minutes.

    Lawn size = 500 sq ft

    Minutes in an hour = 60 minutes

    Layers accumulated = 60

    Let there be 1000 snowflakes in a layer

    Snowflakes = 500 x 60 x 1000

    = 3 x 10⁹ snowflakes

    Mass = 3 x 10⁷ x 2 x 10⁻⁶ kg

    Mass = 60 kg of snow
