The temperature of a sample of water changes from 10°C to 20°C when the sample absorbs 418 joules of heat. What is the mass of the sample?

    The specific heat of water is 4180 J / (kg*K). The ΔT = 10 ℃ = 10 K. And the mass of the water equals to 418/4180/10=0.01 kg=10 g. So the answer is (2) 10 g.
