What is the difference between a molecular formula and a molecular model

    The molecular formula tells you how many of which atoms are present in a given molecule but it doesn't tell you which atoms are bonded to which and what type of bonds are present.

    A molecular model is a visual representation of the molecule so you can see the actual structure of the molecule.
