Consider the following equation ch4 (g) + 2o (g) co2 (g) + 2h2o (g) how many moles of oxygen are needed for the complete combustion of 3.0 mol of CH4 (g)

    The answer is 6 moles.

    Since the mole ratio of ch4 to o is 1:2, and we have 3 moles of ch4, we can just multiple 3 moles by 2 and get 6 moles
