If you remove one neutron from helium, the remainder is what element?

    If you remove one neutron from helium, the remainder element remains the same but it become the isotope of helium. Because if the number of neutrons are changes in the element, they are the isotopes of the that element. And if you remove the one proton from helium then it will become another element that is hydrogen.
