Why does strawberry ice cream melt?

All ice cream melts when it sits out in warm temperatures for to long because it is frozen and just like ice the ice cream will melt if it isn't kept cool in a freezer.

The heat around the ice cream will cause it to change temperature and eventually, slowly melt.
