Why is benzyl alcohol more soluble in ether than water?

    Because the benzyl alchohol is more non-polar than being polar. yes it has OH but has lots of CH3-s and they are nonpolar nonpolarity is stronger so it is soluble in ether rather than in water. in chemistry polar in polar and non-polar to nonpolar is soluble. the water is polar
