    The moles of aluminum produced when 0.440 moles reacted is calculated as below

    write the balanced equation for reaction

    2Al+3Cl2 = 2Al2Cl3

    by use of mole ratio between Al to Al2Cl3 which is 2:2 the moles of Al2Cl3

    = 0.440 x2/2 = 0.440 moles of AI2CI3
