Draw every stereoisomer for 1,2-difluoro-1,2-dimethylcyclopentane. use wedge-and-dash bonds for the substituent groups, and be sure that they are drawn on the outside of the ring, adjacent to each other. the skeletal structure of one molecule is included to indicate the proper format; modify the x/'s on the given structure to create the first stereoisomer.

    The three isomers of 1,2-difluoro-1,2-dimethylcyclopentane are shown. To distinguish the three isomers we can assign the stereocenters as either R or S. Moving from left to right, the first compound has the stereocenters (1R, 2S). The compound in the middle has stereocenters (1R, 2R). The third compound on the right has stereocenters (1S, 2S). It is possible to draw what appears to be another stereoisomers with stereocenters (1S, 2R), however, this compound is a meso-compound and is identical to (1R, 2S). So there are only three unique stereoisomers of 1,2-difluoro-1,2-dimethylcyclopentane.
