Suppose you blow up a ballon and then place it in a freezer. Later you find that the ballon has shrunk and has bits of ice in it. Explain.

    Temperature affects the air.

    Heat makes air expand (the molecules speed up)

    Cold makes the molecules slower.

    Less movement = less space

    The balloon shrinks.
