Solubility is the property of a substance, to dissolve in another substance. The solubility of a substance is measured by recording how much of it is dissolved in a liquid. The substance that is being dissolved is also called the solute while the liquid in which it is being dissolved is also called the solvent. The solubility is how much of a solute is dissolved into a solvent until it reaches a saturation level.
