What is the average mass of a single argon atom in grams?

    Best Answer: The molar mass of Ar = 39.948g/mol

    1mol Ar = 6.022*10^23 atoms

    Therefore 1 atom has mass = 39.948 / (6.022*10^23) = 6.63*10^-23g
