I would say that the reign of terror was justified because they had to strike fear in people in order to get control and they did that by executing people via guillotine
Another reason i would say that it is justified is that they had to stop the people that where supporting the revolution or the revolution would not be successful
The last reason I would say its justified is that they had to fight to get there rights and they had to fight to get they changes they needed
