The partial pressures of the gases oxygen, hydrogen, and nitrogen are 112 kPa, 101 kPa, and 65 kPa respectively. What is the total pressure exerted by the gas mixture?

    Easy peasy! just add them all

    total pressure = P1 + P2 + P3 ... etc

    as long as you have the same units of pressure, you can just go ahead and add them

    total pressure = 112kPa + 101kPa + 65 kPa = 278 kPa
