Determine the [oh-] concentration of a 0.741 m koh solution at 25°c.

    KOH ionizes as follow,

    KOH → K⁺ + OH⁻

    Concentration of OH⁻ is 0.741 M, calculating for pOH,

    pOH = - log [OH ⁻ ]

    pOH = - log (0.741)

    pOH = 0.130

    Also,

    pH + pOH = 14

    pH + 0.130 = 14

    pH = 14 - 0.130

    pH = 13.87
