    I think the correct answer would be the third option. The change that will create a more dilute solution should affect the amount of the solvent since it is the component that is greater than the solute. Being dilute would mean there is a very small amount present of a solute in a solution. Increasing the amount of the sovent, would result to a lesser concentration of the solute.
