How many copper atoms are in a pure copper statue with a mass of 103 kg?

    So in the periodic table, the atomic mass of one copper is 64.546.

    One mole is 6.022x10^23 atoms.

    You can use both of these to find the number of atoms.

    The formula to find the amount of moles of something is "moles = grams / atomic mass"

    103 kg - - > 103,000 g.

    103,000 divided by 63.546 = around 1620.873 moles.

    All you need to do is multiply 1620.873 to 6.022x10^23 and you get the number of atoms in copper!
