Sodium reacts with chlorine gas to produce sodium chloride if 10 moles of chlorine reacts with 5 moles of sodium, which reactant will be the limiting reactant

    Equation:2Na+Cl2-->2NaCl

    no. of mole of Na=5 moles

    no. of moles of Cl2=10 moles

    since 5 moles of Na will react with (5/2) = 2.5 moles of Cl2. Therefore Na is the limiting reactant.
