A material has a density of 8.9g/cm3. You have six cubic centimeters of the substance. What is the materials mass in grams

    We know that density is equal to mass divide by volume of the material D=M/V. So then, in our case the material has a density of 8.9 gr/cm3 and the volume is 6 cm3. The mass will be M=D*V = > 8.9 * 6 = 53.4 grams of substance.
