If both your mother and father have PKU disease, what is true?

1. You will not have the disease because the dominant trait is expressed.

2. Since PKU is a recessive disease, your chances of having it are 100%.

3. Since both parents are homozygous, your chances of having it are 50%.

4. There is a 75% chance that you will be a carrier of the disease, but you will not show symptoms.

    The answer is 2. Since PKU is a recessive disease, your chances of having it are 100%. If both of your parents had PKU disease, then it would make a lot of sense that you would defiantly get it.
