Gasoline tanks are usually white or some other light color, like yellow or green. Gasoline tanks are not painted black. Why are gasoline tanks usually white and never black?     1st option because they can explode if the gas tank is black

    It is the first option bc if it absorbed heat it it will pressurize and could explode.
