    The best statement that would describe effusion of gases is that at a given temperature, gas particles with smaller masses move faster. According to the Graham's Law, the rate of effusion of a gas is inversely proportional to the square root of the molecular weight of that gas. Therefore, the smaller the mass the faster it effuses.
