Since the equation for determining gravitational force is F=Mm/r^2, with the M standing for the mass of one object and m standing for the mass of the other object, and r being the distance between the two, then increasing the mass of one or both objects would increase the gravitational pull between the objects, while increasing the distance would lessen the gravitational pull.
