    According to it : At constant volume, for given mole of gases : Pressure varies directly with temperature.

    That is:

    P ∞ T

    or, P₁/T₁=P₂/T₂

    In the above question, it is asked to find the pressure at temperature 105C:

    P₁=0.750 atm=

    T₁=45 C = 318K

    P₂=?

    T=105 C = 378K

    We have:

    P₁/T₁=P₂/T₂

    0.750/318=P₂/378

    P₂ = 0.750 X 105/45 = 1.75atm
