    Explanation:

    When an electron jumps to a level of higher energy there's energy absorption. When an electron jumps to a level of lower energy there's energy emission. The higher the n number, the higher the energy level.

    With the above information in mind, it's just a matter of seeing if the initial n is higher or lower than the final n.
