In two or more complete sentences summarize the difference between renewable and nonrenewable resources?

Justify your responses with examples.

Nonrenewable resources such as fossil fuels are limited and aren't sustainable as they will run out. However, renewable resources/energy is more sustainable e. g. wind turbines; we can't really run out on wind can we?

Renewable resources are resources which can be restored while non renewable resources are the resources which can not be restored.

Explanation:

As expressed by its name, renew which means it can become new after getting old or used. Now renewable resources as mentioned by its name, are resources which can be replenished easily which means once there stock is reduced, it can be restored to previous level. Notice that this restoration generally is regarded to nature. Like if you take wood or timber, it is obtained by trees, once you cut down a tree and use the wood, tree can be planted and grown again, hence you will never run out of wood. Another example is wind turbine. Everybody knows that wind turbine generates energy by converting kinetic energy of wind into mechanical energy. Now wind is natural resource and we will never run out of wind, so energy of wind is renewable.

Now for non renewable resource, as mentioned by its name, the concept is reverse. It can not be restored once it is depleted. Like natural gas or gasoline. It is a fuel generated in depths of earth by millions of years of decay of fossils. Once it is extracted from earth, its stock beneath the earth is reduced and can not be replenished again in a short time.
