The law of cross-cutting relationships states that an igneous intrusion or any other geologic feature of a rock must be younger than any rock it cuts.
Explanation:
Igneous intrusion is formed when the magma intrudes into the cracks of an existing rock. When the melted rocks solidifies and cool down the resulting feature is the Igneous intrusion
The law of cross cutting is basically a principle of geology that states that the geological feature of a rock that cuts the other is always younger.
