You grab a can of coke out of the fridge on a humid summer day. It immediately start "sweating", where water droplets are forming on the outside of the can. Identify the phase change and explain what is happening on a molecular level

    The phase change that is happening here is condensation.

    When the can of coke is taken out of the fridge, the temperature of the contents inside the can is low and the outside temperature is high.

    The water vapour in the air near the surface of the can gets exposed to low temperatures of the can surface and condensation takes place forming droplets of water on the surface of the can.
