Copper has an atomic number 29. That means that there are 29 protons in the nucleus of each copper atom. That's what the atomic number is; the number of protons in an atom of a certain element. If one copper atom contains 29 protons, how many copper atoms could you make out of 145 protons?

I found out by taking 29 and multiplying by different numbers but you can also divide by 5.
