Explanation:
The formula of iron oxide is Fe₂O₃.
1 mole of a compound contains a mass equivalent to the relative formula mass of that particular compound. Atomic mass of Iron = 56, while that of oxygen is 16.
Total mass of the compound will be = (56 * 2) + (16 * 3)
= 112 + 48
= 160
For 2 mole of the compound i. e 2 Fe₂O₃ the mass will be = 160 * 2
=320 g.
Result: 2 mole of Iron oxide has a mass of 320 g.
