Work out the volume of 0.1 moles of chlorine gas at room temperature and pressure.

    Volume of gas at room temperature = number of moles x 24 dm^3

    Volume = 0.1 moles x 24 dm^3

    Volume = 2.4 dm^3 (or 2400 cm^3)
