Is it worth it? In other words, will the benefits we receive from an action be worth the costs? The process of weighing these decisions is called a. For example, if an organization wants to remove 10 acres of forest to build a mall they must look at the (money and resources needed) versus the (what will the mall bring). Often, there are also unwanted or unknown consequences, or, of an action. These can be positive, such as the mall intends to have a recycling program. Others can be negative, such as the for a native songbird.
