Centisecond is equal to second as follow,
1 Second = 100 centiseconds
Therefore, 157 cs is converted to seconds as,
100 cs = 1 s
So,
157 cs = X s
solving and calculating for X,
X = (157 cs * 1 s) / 100 cs
X = 1.57 s
