Oxygen is diatomic. ozone is triatomic.
oxygen is gotten from decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. ozone is from electric sparks in the atmosphere.
ozone is a bleaching agent. oxygen is not.
ozone is pale blue with choking smell. oxygen is colorless and odorless.

The only difference is the ozone is made up of three atoms of oxygen
