    Doppler effect also known as or referred to as Doppler shift is referred to as change in the wavelength or frequency of wave in association to an individual (observer) who is also in motion relative to wave source. The reason for this phenomenon is that during the time period when source is travelling towards observer, then each wave crest tends to be emitted from position which is closer to observer.
