As one mole of (C₃H₅) ₂S weights 114 g so we can calculate the number of moles of S in 33.3 g of (C₃H₅) ₂S as,
114 g of (C₃H₅) ₂S contains = 1 mole of S
Then,
33.3 g of (C₃H₅) ₂S will contain = X moles of S
Solving for X,
X = (33.3 g * 1 mol) : 114 g
X = 0.292 moles of S
