    The ideal gas equation presupposes that the molecules of a gas are at infinite distances from each other hence they do not interact at all. This condition can only be satisfied at very high temperature and low pressure. At high temperature, the average kinetic energy of gas molecules is maximum hence they can move apart at great distances from each other. At low pressure, the gasses are relatively free from any kind of intermolecular forces. Hence oxygen will behave as an ideal gas at high temperature and low pressure.
