1. behave as metals when they react.

2. are also transition elements.

3. do not react under normal conditions.

4. behave as metalloids when they react.

Noble gases do not react under normal conditions. The noble gases are already stable because their outer most electron shell is full, so they tend to be non-reactive. So like wise if they do react its only under special circumstances.
